Free Facebook Ad Audit for Treasure Coast Businesses

A second set of eyes, from someone who lives down the road.

Maybe you're running Facebook ads and the phone isn't ringing. Maybe you boosted a few posts, watched the likes climb, and wondered where the customers were. Either way, it's easy to burn months, and money, guessing at what's wrong.

An ad audit is a way to stop guessing. Someone looks at what you're running, tells you what's working, what isn't, and what to change first. This guide explains what a good audit checks, what it doesn't need from you, and whether a free one is really free.

Signs your Facebook ads aren't working

You don't need a spreadsheet to sense when something is off. Common signs on the Treasure Coast and everywhere else:

  • Plenty of likes and comments, but few calls or bookings. Attention isn't the same as customers.
  • You've been boosting posts and hoping. Boosting is easy, but it isn't designed for every goal.
  • Leads come in but never answer. That can be the ad, the form, or the follow-up.
  • You can't say which ads brought in actual customers. If you can't tell, you can't improve.
  • Your budget keeps creeping up and results stay flat.

If any of those sound familiar, an audit is a good next step.

What a Facebook ad audit actually checks

A good audit walks through the same six things, because they're where most local campaigns go wrong:

  1. Your offer. Is it clear, specific, and worth acting on? "Now enrolling, ages 2 to 4" or "free estimate this week" works harder than "quality service."
  2. Your targeting. Are you reaching the right people, in the right radius, in the right towns?
  3. Your lead form or landing page. Is it short, clear, and easy on a phone? Does it ask only for what you need?
  4. Your creative. Do the photos and video look like you, and does the message land in the first second?
  5. Your tracking. Can you actually tell which ads produced calls, forms, and customers?
  6. Your follow-up. How fast does a lead hear back, who calls, and what do they say?

The problem is often in the last three, not the ad itself, so a good audit checks them as closely as the ad.

Six things a good audit looks at, in order.

"Usually the problem isn't budget. It's the offer and the targeting."

That's the line we come back to most. When ads aren't working, the first instinct is to spend more. But more money behind a weak offer or the wrong audience just buys more of the same result, faster.

Small changes often matter more than big ones: a sharper offer, a tighter radius, a form that asks one less question, a call back the same day. A Fort Pierce preschool's first campaign is a good example of a simple setup done carefully: a clear offer to local parents, a short form, and a quick personal follow-up. It brought in 8 enrollments from about $800 in ad spend.

Results vary by business, offer, season and budget. Past results don't guarantee future ones.

You can see how that campaign was put together in our guide to Facebook ads for daycares in Port St. Lucie. And if you're wondering what a reasonable budget even looks like, our guide to what Facebook ads cost in Port St. Lucie breaks it down.

Local targeting mistakes on the Treasure Coast

Ads aren't the same here as in a big city, and a local audit looks for local problems:

  • The radius is too wide. If you're paying to show your ad to people who would never drive to you, that's budget with no way to pay off. A tire shop in Jensen Beach and a preschool in Port St. Lucie need very different circles.
  • The season is ignored. The Treasure Coast changes through the year, with seasonal residents arriving and leaving. Your ads should follow who's actually here and when they're looking, not run the same way twelve months straight.
  • Everything is in English. Some of your neighbors may speak Spanish at home, and an ad in their language can say "this is for you" in a way a quick translation can't. It's worth asking whether a Spanish version fits your business.

Do you need to give account access?

Not your password. You should never have to share your Facebook login with anyone for an audit. There are a couple of simple ways to do this:

  • Limited, view-only access. Meta has built-in ways to let someone see your ad account without handing over your login. We'll walk you through it.
  • No account access at all. If you're not running ads yet, or you'd rather not share anything, we can review your Facebook page and the ads that are publicly visible instead.

Either way, it's your call, and we'd rather you feel comfortable than rushed.

Is a free audit just a sales pitch?

Fair question. Here's the honest answer: you get the findings either way. If you take them and fix things yourself, great. If you'd like help, we can talk about that, with a flat fee and no long contracts. And if your ads are mostly in good shape, we'll tell you so.

What we won't do is pretend there's a mystery to solve. An audit should leave you with clear next steps you could act on tomorrow, whether or not you ever hire us.

Audit or consultation: which free option fits?

We offer two free ways to start, and they're for slightly different situations:
